Tiny Tots Classes Offered

We are kicking off October by celebrating Center Stage Dance Academy as one of our October Members of the Month! For 14 years, Center Stage has been teaching much more than dance right here in Abbeville. They have created a place where students can learn, build confidence, make friendships, and of course, have a whole lot of fun along the way! Center Stage offers classes for dancers from 18 months old all the way through adulthood, including everything from their mini sessions for the littlest dancers to competitive dance and adult classes. One program we especially love is their Special Needs class for individuals with mental and developmental disabilities, making sure everyone has an opportunity to experience the joy of dance.
Owner and instructor Ali Miller brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to the studio, alongside an incredible team of instructors. And their impact doesn’t stop when the music turns off! Ali and instructor Emily Gaspard have volunteered their talents throughout our community over the years, creating award winning choreography for Kaplan High School BETA, Dancing with the Stars, and other local events.
We love businesses that don’t just operate in our community, but become part of it. Center Stage Dance Academy is a wonderful example of exactly that. Join us for our Tiny Tots classes held on Thursday evenings from September 24 to October 29 from 5:45-6:15pm. This introduction to dance class is for 18 months to 3 years old. The class features basic dance and movement for our future dancers who are accompanied by an adult. The fee is $70 for the 6-week session, with no registration fee required. The Tiny Tots session will be offered again in the Spring of 2027. Stay tuned for our 6-week adult classes happening in November!

CORE Company Wins at NYLA

What an incredible weekend for our CORE Company Competition team at NYLA Competition held in Lake Charles! We are so proud of these dancers and the hard work they put into these dances!
